How to watch your M3U playlist on a LG TV
If you have a LG TV and want to watch your M3U playlist or Xtream account with Chlyra TV, here are the options that work today and where the native app stands.
The LG (webOS) app
LG TVs run their own system, webOS, and apps are published on the LG store after passing its review process. The Chlyra TV app for webOS is going through that process. Once it is published, it will appear on the downloads page alongside the others.
What you can use on your LG today
In the meantime, there are three ways to watch your playlist on the LG screen with what is already available:
- A Fire TV StickPlug a Fire TV Stick or Fire TV into an HDMI port and install Chlyra TV from the Amazon Appstore.
- A device running Android TV or Google TVIf you have, or plug in over HDMI, a player running Android TV or Google TV, you can install the Chlyra TV app for Android TV from Google Play and use it on your LG like on any other TV.
- A Windows PC connected over HDMIInstall Chlyra TV for Windows on the computer and connect it to the TV with an HDMI cable.
In every case, your playlist, favourites and settings are in your account. When the webOS app is available, you will just need to sign in: there will be nothing to add again.
